Board of Elders

The Board of Elders assists the pastor in all matters pertaining to the spiritual welfare of the congregation.  They are responsible for contact with individual members as to their spiritual welfare and encouraging members to be faithful in attendance.  

 

 

 

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees are responsible for the physical upkeep of all church and school property and equipment.  

Evangelism

  • Vacant

 

Evangelism plans, promotes, and administers inreach and outreach programs, enlisting aid in visiting and greeting visitors to the church and prospective members.  They assist the Pastor with Friendship Sunday and other events to reach the unchurched, bringing them to pastor's instruction class, and assimilating them into congregation life.

 

 

Board of Worship

The Board of Worship assists the Pastor in planning of worship services.  They oversee the functions of the ushers, acolytes, altar guild, and nursery.  

Board of Education

The Board of Education assists the DCE in carrying out the educational objectives for the congregation.  They appoint a Sunday School Superintendent, Adult Ed Coordinator, and Vacation Bible School Director all of whom serve on this board to plan. promote, and carry out the educational programs for the church. 

 

 

Board of Stewardship

The Board of Stewardship helps members discover their talents to enlist them into congregational programs.   The assist in the instruction of members in the grace and proportionate giving to God's work in the church, parish, and the world.  They prepare an annual budget for submission to the Voters Assembly and supervise the raising of funds in the congregation. b

Board of Christian Concerns

The Board of Christian Concerns monitors and encourages Holy Trinity's financial support and involvement in non-profit agencies of the church and community such as Food Bank, Blood Bank, Lutheran Social Services, benevolences to individuals, crisis pregnancy center, etc.  They keep informed of the needs of the sick, aged, and poor of the congregation and provide support groups for the same.

 

 

Board of Youth

The Board of Youth assist the Assistant Pastor in developing the spiritual growth of the youth (5th - 12th grade) of the congregation.  They provide leadership, training, and opportunities for youth service in all areas of congregational life.  They recruit adult volunteers to serve as youth counselors.

 

 

Board of Fellowship

The Board of Fellowship plans and organizes fellowship activities of the church such as church picnic, meals, and receptions for the purpose of developing relationships with our congregation and community.

 

 

School Board

The School Board coordinates the functions of the school and integrates school activities with the overall mission and ministry of the church.  They oversee the school program, teachers, financial feasibility of school programs, and verify that state and local regulatory requirements are met.
